What the team name means

The name identifies the editorial responsibilities behind the publication. It does not claim that each responsibility belongs to a different employee; one operator may perform more than one role. If the owner later supplies a real public author name and asks for attribution, that person's profile and assigned articles can replace the organizational byline. Until then, benchr will not invent a person or professional credential.

Editorial roles

• Editorial lead: defines the reader question, scope, evidence threshold, and final conclusion.
• Evidence editor: checks model names, prices, specifications, dates, availability, and benchmark attribution against the linked primary or benchmark source. Unknown fields remain unknown.
• Arabic editor: writes or revises the Arabic edition for meaning, terminology, and reading flow, then checks it against the English factual record. The role is not a claim of word-for-word translation.
• Release editor: checks the visible byline, canonical URL, structured data, internal links, page shell, and correction route before a new or materially revised article is released.

From question to publication

1. Define the decision the page must help a reader make and reject a page that only repeats a template.
2. Collect provider documentation, benchmark-maintainer records, and other attributable evidence. Separate provider claims, third-party results, calculations, and editorial judgment.
3. Draft the explanation, preserve documented gaps, and link evidence close to the claim it supports.
4. Recheck material factual fields and verify that the title, article body, byline, schema, and language edition describe the same page.
5. Publish corrections on the affected page and use the public correction log when the change is material.

AI assistance

AI tools may assist with outlining, draft language, translation checks, code, and custom editorial illustrations. AI tools are not authors, sources, or independent reviewers. Their output cannot establish a price, specification, benchmark, date, or conclusion. The publication remains accountable for choosing sources, checking claims, approving copy, and correcting errors.

Bylines and review labels

The organizational byline links to this stable profile. A Person author will appear only after a real public identity, role, profile URL, and article assignment are supplied. benchr does not currently add a reviewedBy claim because no separate public reviewer record has been established. A page's “Reviewed” dateline describes a source-check event; it is not a hidden credential or second-person endorsement.

Accountability

Source disputes and factual corrections go to corrections@benchr.org. Include the benchr URL, the disputed statement, and the official source when available. The governing rules are the editorial standards, the evidence process is in the methodology, and material changes are recorded on the corrections page.
